BMW announced a new research and development center in Munich. The complex is designed to work on autonomous vehicles, including a new design called iNext.
BMW is one of the car manufacturers that engages in the design of vehicles equipped with autonomous driving technology. The Bavarian concern is quite frugal at the moment to disclose its plans for this market sector. We only know that he is working on a conceptual iNext model, which will have its premiere in 2021.
It is known for sure that BMW will build a new R & D center in Munich to develop such vehicles. It will employ around 2000 engineers, who will focus on developing cutting-edge communication systems and technologies that enable vehicles to navigate the streets themselves. In this city, the prototypes will be tested in the future.
